Junior Allison Manning proudly mounts her pony Raggedy-Ann. People and their Pets The personality of a person is often reflected in the type of pet he has. A quiet, serious person usually has a bird or an aquarium of fish. Someone with down-home characteristics may have a hound dog or a tom cat. A person with exquisite tastes may have a pedigree poodle or a Siameese cat. Many students at Hampton High were pet owners. Junior Chris¬ tian Saville was the owner of a cat, two dogs, a hamster, and an aquarium of fish. She said her family enjoys having animals around the house. Senior Karen France owned three cats and a mouse. She said she had three felines because she loves cats. She bought the mouse because he was the cutest thing I had ever seen.
