Students learned in the practical arts classes that practicality is an art, as was evident in their making of use¬ ful ornaments, trinkets, hanging baskets and lunch boxes. They were also eager to display their paintings and other creations in showcases and attractive bulletin boards for different reasons. Showing the Christmas spirit of giving, D. E. students made beauti¬ fully decorated seas shell ornaments to give to the faculty members at their annual Christmas party given for the teachers.
