In 1930 Mr. Lewis was instrumental in getting a charter for the Hampshire Chapter of the Future Farmers of America. In addition to his many contributions as an agricultural teacher, he has now organized a modern shop where he conducts an industrial arts program It is a pleasure and a privilege for the Class of 1954 to dedicate the Highlighter to Mr. Lewis, who has so diligently worked to make farm life in this community more pleasurable.
