W alking through the halls of Tech there are people who look about the same, yet everyone is a distinctindividual, who has their own special features and qualities. Individualism is some- thing that each of us have, and something we should never lose. Here at Tech indi- vi dualism plays an im- po rtan.tpart in our lives. The d i s t i net traits of e v e ry person shows up s t r o n gly in everything we do. Athletes show their will, determination and abilities. Actors, singers, musicians and artists show off their creativity, persistence and talents. No matter who they are or what they do every Tech students ' individualism reflects on the spirit and strength of Tech herself. In the pages that fol- low all Tech students are p i c t ured in such a way so that their individual- istic characteristics will show. •ten ic l 4 ( H i m axed ' Jea ' i fiaduaticn $une 8t i THE Rather than the one full day with members run- ning in and out, with pages getting confused and misplaced. This was an aide to the yearbook staff and instructor as well as the yearbook itself. For then we had the opportunity to be together at once and have different views on changes, pictures and theme ideas. The yearbook takes a great deal of time and effort out of every staff mem- ber in order for us to prepare a book that everyone can appreciate. Butitall couldn ' t have been possible without Sam ' s guidance and criticism. Also there ar e photographers who took the pictures. A special thanks to Bodie, Harry, and Tom. Yet not to forget our own Herbie Waldron, Marvin Carlton, and Scott DeGroot. But most importantly the 1 978 Chart Staff who spent long and hard hour s trying to recapture the year in a way that everyone can look back on and appreciate. I hope you enjoy your yearbook, because we enjoyed putting it together for you. Thanks! The Editor, STAFF MEMBERS 192 £
