Seniors Tour Washington and New York All the tourists viewed the Lincoln Memorial Another interesting sight to see was the Iwo Jima Marine Memorial. Several Tech Seniors and Juniors were among those who toured Washington and New York during October. Ac- companied by Miss Ritter, these students journeyed by train visiting Washington for two days, and spending two days in New York. Students were able to visit such places of interest as Mount Vernon, Capital Building, Radio City Music Hall, U.N. Building, Statue of Lib- erty, and Thomas Jefferson Memorial. It was a won- derful opportunity for our students to view some of the historical spots in our country. A sky line view of New York is shown, which was taken from the observation tower of the Empire State Building. 22
