Seven Metal-Working Shops Helped TWO FRESHMEN IN EXPLORATORY metals shop prepare a sand mold used in making castings. Seven well-equipped metal-working shops helped students gain experience in using tools and machines found on the job in industry. Included were Exploratory Metals (for freshmen), Machine Shops I and II, Sheet Metal Shop, Forge-Foundry Shop, Weld Shop, and Plumbing Shop. WAYNE CHANDLER AND Ron Berdine repair a dryer in Mr. Rinehart ' s Home Appliance Shop. Appliance Repair- New Electric Shop Home Appliance Shop was organized as a new shop to fill the demand for training in the appliance repair field. Electric I, II, and III students were instructed in house, telephone, and signal wiring, motor repair and maintenance, and T.V. and radio repair. An Explora- tory Shop also enabled freshmen to decide if they wished further electric training. RAY KOZUCH, David Kominlak, and Ron Achor study a voltmeter in Mr. Buehrle ' s Electronics shop.
