IN THE EIGHTH hour study hall students have time to catch up on MR. ROBINSON DIRECTS the band during a practice session, their homework. ...For Sheer Enjoyment! There were those courses in 1962-63 in which students enrolled for sheer pleasure. Some chose to spend their time doing homework in a study hall, while others learned to operate a projector in visual aids or learned to exprees themselves in an art class project. Others elected to play an instrument in the band, to set up a headline for the Tech Times, or to. learn to play the piano. There was also a course in music appreciation in which students listened to and discussed the world ' s great com- positions. Other choices i ncluded choral music, drama, and Chart. 23
