Students use after-school hours, run errands, relax After school jobs, helping out at home, homework and running errands filled HHSers time outside of school. Meeting with friends, students walked home together during warm-weather months. Some students hurried to get to their part- time jobs, while others rushed home to baby- sit and help out with family duties. Homework was completed accompanied by stereo music or favorite television programs. Helping out with the grocery shopping, junior Nancy Laskarin compares prices for best selection. Home Life 1 7

Showing traditional Wildcat enthusiasm, Hammond High crowd shows support of gridmen during homecom ing game against Morton Governors. Marching onto field during half time, drill team members lead Hammond High Band. Enthusiasm for homecoming festivities grew as the game against Morton Governors drew near. As the week’s activities were presented, school spirit heightened. Elections were held, and Friday night ' s half time provided association president Bill Brahos the opportunity to announce Gail Hilbrich the ’75 Homecoming Queen.
