Perhaps more important than the knowl- edge gained is the training received in logical, clear thinking. A new four-year unified mathe- matics course was introduced this year, the purpose being to correlate the fields and con- cepts of algebra and geometry. Ten mathe- matics courses are offered by the department. Mr. Don Clark derives the formula for the volume of a prism for a student. Mathematics
