The Senior Class of Hammond Central proudly presents our ‘Impossible Dream 1982 Spotlight Foreword To dream the impossible dream — the words to this song were in our minds throughout the planning of the yearbook with the hope that the faculty and students of Hammond can dream their dreams and at least try to fulfill them. As you look through the pages of the , Spotlight, the staff hopes that you will enjoy the book and the memories included in it. This year, the class of 1982 proudly dedicates the Spotlight to our families. Throughout our lives, they have given us support, knowledge, and acceptance. They have dealt with the good times and the bad times with love and understanding. With their help, we are now ready to venture into a new life and eager to fulfill our dreams. To Mr. Scofield, We leave empty halls, quiet discussions and Understanding. To the Class of 1983, We leave the Yearbook (Have Fun), and the title “SENIORS.” To the Class of 1984, We leave the ability to get along with one another. To the Class of 1985, We leave the senior pass that we never received. To the Faculty, We leave quietly, but hope not forgotten. I, Mike Alberry, leave to my brother Gary my ability to get through school without going insane. I, Robin Alberry, leave to Beverly Ceresoli Six inches of my height so she can stuff it. I, Guy Angel, give my great driving ability on the Rossie roads to my brother Gary. I, Louise Ayotte, being of somewhat sound mind, leave Susan and Johnny my “Slim Whitman” records. To Mr. Valios I leave a large cage for his animals, to the Missus I leave my temper and to Fred and Tom my Hot Plate. I, John Bartlett, “Star Soccer Player,” leave some advice to all sports members, “drink but don’t get caught.” I, Angela Bickelhaupt, leave to my brother, Leonard, my ability to type without looking at the keys, and to Theresa Ar- quitt, I leave Five inches of height. I, Dawn Boland, leave to the rest of the Boland clan my ability to work and get along with others. I, Donna Bowden, leave to my brother Andrew and Scot Rupert my “Baby Bernice” part, to which ever one it may fit the best. To Mrs. Hannan I leave the nightmares of this yearbook. To S.A.D. I leave a special thanks. I, Debra Dunham, leave in my Last Will and Testament one of my nicknames, “Grasshopper” to whoever can stomach it. And to whoever wants it, I leave one beat-up CROWN. I, Robyn Gilmer, leave Mrs. Hannan to anyone who can put up with her, and my ability to get caught smoking to Theresa Arquitt. The rest I’m taking with me where ever I may end up. I, Dean (Reggie) Gleason, leave to Christie all the food I won’t be there to eat, and to Mr. S. I leave a bit less trouble. I, Debi Henderson, leave to anyone worthy of it my desk in the office. To Pam and Peter I leave my ability to graduate. To Jodi Mann I leave uniform 25. I, Ken (Klicker) Klock, leave my Volleyball talent to Roach. Also I leave my office’s (bathroom and locker room) to Mr. Scofield to keep checking for smokers. And last, but not least, I leave my bus trip to Boces to Steve June. I, Kris Krake, leave to Thelma Thorton my ability to do finger waves and one membership card to the G.B.T.C. To Ham- mond Central School I leave one smoke detector for the girls locker room. I, Dennis Martin, leave my tweezers especially equipped for basketball, to Andy Bowden.
