Last Will and Testament We, the 1977 Seniors of Hammond Central School, do make this our first and last Will as follows: To the class of 1978, we leave 40 rolls of crepe paper, in various shades of red. To the class of 1979, we leave 20 pounds of our delicious fruitcake. To the class of 1980, we leave our ability for choosing profitable money-making projects. To the faculty, we leave the popular phrase, We're Seniors. ” To Mr. Uhlig, we leave absolutely nothing. Steve Ayotte: Leaves his only treasured belonging, his throne, to Sam Bogart. Mark Bickelhaupt: Leaves his angelic personality to Doug Salamacha, and, to Marge, he leaves his ability to get along with Murt. Dawn Chapman: Leaves this school to any sane person who wants it. Barb Dauphinias: Leaves to the next Business Law class her ability to get along with Mrs. Hannan, and leaves to Bruce Stewart the memory of a good psychiatrist. Becky Davis: Leaves to Bruce Stewart the future, and to Sasquatch, she leaves her big brother. Debbie Farley: Leaves all her classes in school to her sister Connie and to her brother Dougie. Joe Forjone: Leaves his ability to get along with Mr. Jones to his two brothers, and vice versa. Carl Frizzel: Leaves his cooking class to Walley and his homeland, Rossie, to anyone who wants it. Denise Gates: Leaves 18 bottles of Long and Silky to Tammy Gallagher. Kim Gilmer: Leaves her love for cold, snowy winters to anyone who can stand them; T.V. dinners to Diane; and English speeches to future senior classes, because they're so much fun. Dave Hadlock: Leaves his ability to get to basketball practice on time to Dave Stowe. Gine Jolly: Leaves her highly-respected position in the cafeteria to Bacon, and the rest of her life to Mark. Reva McAvoy: Leaves her ill-famed watering hole on the soccer field to Noreen, her wild ski weekends in Vermont to Matt, and she leaves Steve to Mary Walsh. Ana Lopez: Leaves the driver ed. car to Mr. Scofield, in good condition? Polly Schermerhorn: Leaves to Jinny her ability to maintain friendly relations with Mr. Scofield, to Mark Hadlock, she leaves her desk in Math class, and she leaves her accident proneness to some other unsuspecting soccer player. Dale Spies: Leaves his great basketball expertise to Dave Lewis, because he needs it. Cindy Sullivan: Leaves a trunk full of pough bines to Reva, their exclusive recipe for browns” to Ana, and a box of red Tic Tacs to someone special. Diane Tayler: Leaves to Kim Conklin her white bodysuit in hopes that she can snap it up right; to Mr. Scofield she leaves all the railroad tracks in Gouverneur; and she leaves the state of Arizona, with all its lizards, to Hector. Allen Walsh: Is taking everything with him, because where he's going, he’ll need it.

Yearbook Staff Cindy Sullivan, Editor Diane Tayler, Assistant Editor Mark Bickelhaupt Dale Spies In years to come when looking through the 1977 Spotlight each of us will see something different. But, I will see the efforts of those few people who, along with Mrs. Hannan, gave so unselfishly of their time to make the 1977 Spotlight a yearbook to remember. Cindy Sullivan, Editor
