gi5?W!l,T TAKE NOTICE, “■“““-’ttT.w, Hr 31££Z!BZ -mm The Class of 1976 Proudly Presents Spotlight Hammond, Central School Hammond, New York Foreword In honor of our country's birthday, our Bicentennial year, we present to you the 1976 Spotlight in remembrance of this historical event. The sights and sounds of 1776 are silent, but our cherished memories of valor and strength will never die. We sometimes have stumbled in our struggle for the American Dream but have managed to keep getting back up. This celebration symbolizes our achievement and growth, reminding us of the past that shapes our present, and gives hope to a productive future. VILLAGE OF Hammon Dedication It is an honor to pay tribute to one who has become a genuine part of Hammond Central School. The interest in her students and the eagerness she has shown to help them, have endeared her to all who have come under her influence. Because of her dedication of twenty-three years to this school, we the Class of 1976, proudly dedicate our Spotlight to Mrs. Joan Spies. 3 Yearbook Staff Judy Savage David Aitcheson Bonnie Supensky Luanne Jolly Janice Forjone I would like to thank all those who made this yearbook possible, the advertisers, subscribers, Mrs. Hannan, the Senior class, and all others who may have contributed in some way. A lot of time, effort, and patience was put forth to try and make the 1976 Spotlight” a special memory to us all. 4 Ann Storie, Editor 6 Our Assistant Principal Robert Sargent Board of Education SEATED: C.
