PROPHECY It is now the year 1998 and the members of the Class of '73 have established themselves in their prospective professions. At a recent class reunion, each one's past and present was revealed. It was decided to hold this little get-together at Joan Bowman's new restaurant. After studying the trade for many years, Joan is now bartender in Bowman's Brewery. Velda Aldrich cooked the delicious food for the party. Her training has done her justice. She has had quite a bit of practice cooking for her husband and, as you should have guessed, her thirteen children; a baker’s dozen. Music was provided by Laurie Chase's orchestra. Laurie is now called the Leonard Bernstein of Greater Hammond. She has her own music hall with a full orchestra. The people's Sunday afternoons are spent listening to her Pop Rock on the Library Lawn. The party started at nine P. M. and lasted until the early hours of the morning. By 9:30 al- most everyone in the old class had arrived. Bernard Martin gave a short speech on pollution in the big cities as related to pollution on the farm. Bernie is residing in New Y ork City and is host of the TV show, Kid Talk. His son is the main speaker, (the one sitting on the far right). As the party went on, Sam Proven was found trying to talk her classmates into buying her snow- mobiles. She is now running a booming business in Arizona selling snowmobiles for the desert. Sam can be seen riding her big green machines over the sand dunes of the deserts there. Sue Ayen was in a rather depressed mood because of something that had happened at work. Sue had a job as head nurse and aid to Dr. Welby, but was fired that day because she had been caught trying to give a shot of love potion to Dr. Kiley. Sherry and Dave Furgison came in together at around ten. When asked why they were so late, their hidden careers were discovered. Sherry is starring in the motion picture, Breezy Rider, and is playing the role of Motorcycle Mama. Dave is co-starring in the same movie. He has been seen with the leading lady quite a bit lately. After Sherry and Dave arrived, there was a telephone call for Dave from the studio, but he couldn't hear because there seemed to be something wrong with the line. So, Jim Gordon was paged. Jim was the handy man for the telephone company for many years, but recently he was made his father-in-law’s partner. He now gets free meatballs, twenty-four hours a day. Lana Hollister made it to the party quite late also. She had been campaigning quite heavily that day. Lana is running for President of the U. S. on the Republican ticket. When asked why she decided to run, she replied, Well, I have to have something to do in my spare time.

PROPHECY Suddenly the lights went out in the Bowman's Brewery. Everyone began screaming and yelling for Randy Salamacha. Randy is a successful electrician, practicing his trade in the newly estab- lished medical center in beautiful downtown Hammond. He is in charge of shock treatment. Finally the lights were restored and the party kept right on swinging. Twelve midnight found Jennifer dancing on top of the tables. Jen is now living a very prosperous and happy life in Syra- cuse. She is regularly seen at all the local discotheques as a singer-dancer. By 2:00 A. M., food was running low. All that was left was a dish of hard candy on which one of the gang broke a tooth. So, Danny Jolly came to the rescue. Dan is known throughout TV land as the Dancing Dentist. This is a daytime series in which Danny illustrates the A, B, C's of tooth drilling. As the reunion came to an end, people started leaving to check into the motel where everyone from out of town was staying. Before they left Dave DeCondo made sure that they knew where to get gas for their long trips home. Dave now owns a chain of gas stations all over the country. A recent survey discovered why these stations get such a booming business. Instead of free glasses, free pizzas are given away to the lucky customers. As the little party moved over to the motel where they planned on staying, Jari Salisbury told them that they couldn't stay there for the night. Jari owns her own chain of motels which have spread across the country. Only loving couples are allowed, so no one but Sherry and Dave could stay. On the way to Ogdensburg to find another motel. Bill Storie was seen in front of the seminary. We wondered why he didn't come to the reunion. Bill has recently graduated from Wadham's Hall and is now preparing himself for priesthood. He was at that moment picketing in front of the semi- nary with a sign reading, equal rights for priests, MARRIAGE! As they hit the road again for Ogdensburg, a flashing red light appeared from behind. After pulling over to the side of the road, they found out that the state trooper was David Spies. We thought that he had left the party rather early ! After successfully completing his training, Dave is often seen hiding out on the back roads of Hammond waiting for a pick-up. We told him where we were heading and he decided that he had just the place for us to stay the night. Guess where the gay little party ended up - the County jail I Well, it sounds like a fun party and I hope the Class of '73 will be around to have another in twenty-five years.
