Because she has worked for and with us, because she has given generously of her time and wisdom - words are a poor substitute with which to express our sincere respect and admiration for Mrs. Helen Eustis. She has voluntarily given so much of her time to French Club, Student Council, The Latin Banquet, Honor Society, and as a librarian. Everyone respects this teacher and looks to her for advice and help. She is never too busy to stop and talk with a student or to help the school in any way she can. Nearing the end of our years at Hammond, we of the class of 1969 have attempted to capture and reproduce on a few pages, a year of school. We have honestly tried to organize and present the many varied people and activities in an interesting and meaningful way. If this gives you some en- joyment, brings to mind an old classmate, or recalls a half forgotten event, then we are well rewarded. To Mr. Daniel Ritzman, who did far more than his share of the work and supplied invaluable guidance, we extend our sincere thanks. Whatever success this book achieves is largely due to his efforts. “Spotlight ’69” is now ready. We, of the Senior Class, now present it to you, the reader, for whom it is very rightly intended.
