Class Mistory In '66 we entered the ninth grade and began the first of our Unforgettable Years. We were guided by Mrs. White and led by our officers: President - James Supensky, Vice-President - Steve Demick, Secretary - Marilyn Bickelhaupt, Treasurer - James (Charlie)Schneider. Our Student Council representative was John Morrison. During the year we raised money by selling Mrs. Leland's Candy and sponsoring records hops. In our sophomore year we were guided by Mr. Aitcheson and led by our officers: President - James Snyder, Vice-President - Pete Ayen, Secretary - Jane Laidlaw, Treasurer - Cindy Ayen. Our Student Council representatives were John Morrison and Penny Watson. Our main projects for raising money were the sale of magazines, fruitcakes, and the sponsoring of dances. The advisors who led us in our successful Junior year were Miss Berninger and Mr. Aitche- son. Our class officers were President - Charlie Schneider, Vice President - Penny Watson, Secretary - Paulette Emrich, Treasurer - Jane Laidlaw. Our Student Council representatives were Cindy Ayen and Dan Paddock. Our Junior year drew to a close with its climax being the Prom, with Bertha, the mermaid, as our main attraction. Our class has the distinction of making the most profit on our Prom Fantasy of the Sea. Our other projects for earning mon- ey were selling computer card wreaths and sponsoring dances. HOORAY! We have reached our ultimate goal at last, our Senior Year. As our final year draws to a close we are busy completing our yearbook and raising money for our Senior Trip. We are led this year by our faithful and understanding advisor Mr. Daniel Ritzman, who is aided by our class officers; President John Morrison, Vice President - Steve Demick, Secre- tary - Cindy Ayen, Treasurer - Marilyn Bickelhaupt, and Student Council representatives are Pete McDermott and Penny Watson. We have had many activities to raise money, such as: the sale of stationery, the sale of refreshments at the basketball games, this yearbook and the sponsoring of dances. As we, the Seniors of '69, leave Hammond Central this year and step out into a complete- ly new world we look back on these last four years and thank all the teachers, parents, advisors, and friends who have made these truly the Unforgettable Years.
