 Jorervorcf In the coming years, the Senior Class of 1967 will be on the outside looking in to Hammond Central and no longer taking part in these student activities which have meant so much to us. We are hoping that we will glimpse at the shades of the year 1967 by looking into this issue of the Spotlight. Even now, these past years are slowly moving into shadows of memory. Therefore, we, the Senior Class, invite you to look back at the Shades of ‘67, and we sincerely hope that the ‘67 Spotlight will preserve some event in your mind, also. 4

We, the class of 1967, Hammond Central School, are finishing our twelve years of school with a combined effort to produce, on only a few pages, the memories of one entire year. While trying to present each division of H. C. S. completely, we have also tried to present them well enough to keep the past events alive for decades to come. The whole class would like to express their deepest gratitude to Mr. Ritzman, our yearbook advisor, who has put in long hours of labor on the yearbook. The senior class and the advisor will surely remember the time and effort that go into making such an annual. We feel that your satisfaction will be our compensation. We, the senior class of Hammond Central School, proudly, enthusias- tically, and humbly present to you the 1967 “Spotlight”.
