As another school year comes to a close we wonder what part we have played, and how well have we succeed- ed in the Education of our Youth for Future Responsibilities. It is my hope that this has been an enjoyable year in which all of us have increased the characteristics of courtesy, determination, friendliness, and respect. We take justifiable pride in our modern school building and our instructional staff and equipment. But we must always consider the feelings, emotions, attitudes, and desires as most important in the learning climate of our school. The pupils are our main concern and challenge. On our understanding and aggressiveness will rest the hope of their future. The three strongest factors in America to help develop our youth are the Church, the Home, and the School. It is the duty and privilege of the Clergy, the Parents, and the Teachers to be ever ready and willing to influence, guide, and listen to our youth. Therefore, let us all work together in making this dream to excellence come true.

DEDICATION JAMES R. RUSSELL The class of 1965 dedicates this year's Spotlight to James R. Russell. He helped us as class adviser in our Junior and Senior years. His qualities of understanding, patience, and willingness to help others have guided us in high school and have set a pattern for us to follow in later life. 3
