CLASS PROPHECY Mrs. Chapman: Tom, do you know what day it is today? Mr. Chapman: Your birthday, wedding anniversary, no, it can't be Valentines? Mrs. Chapman: Twenty years ago today, the class of 1963, of which you were the class advisor, was graduated. Mr. Chapman: I wonder what they are doing, now. Wouldn't it be nice if we wrote to them and asked what they are doing, now, twenty years after their graduation? Mrs. Chapman: I think I'll do just that. Mrs. Chapman: In record time I've received a reply from all of them. The first letter was from Dave Rogers who was so efficient as president of their Senior Class. Having been dissatisfied as a farmer in Rossie, Dave moved to Rossie, Iowa, to sell Deere Farm Machinery. He seems to be doing very well as he is now driving a Cadillac........................From deep in the volumes of the Congressional Library at Washington, D. C, came my next letter from Rose Mary Pierce. Oh, Yes, I remember Rosy always did have her nose, not in somebody else's business, but in a book. It certainly has paid off because Rose Mary is now librarian for the Presi- dent of the United States.......Tim's dream of push button farming has really come true. From his comfortable rocking chair in his ranch type house, he manages by push button con- trol a 1,000 acre farm. By the red button the milking is accomplished, and the blue does the haying. All he has to do is keep his buttons straight! This unique method of farming gives Tim plenty of time to rod around........As usual Gary is all over like good Weather. Since he joined the Air Force he has lived in every state in the Union, now fifty-one, including the Moon. In his last letter he told about his plans of trying to get to Venus.............Dolly has gone to Hawaii where she runs a pineapple plantation. I wish I could include a picture of her twelve children. They are simply beautiful. Dolly was chosen as Mother of the Year because of her family devotion, being a U.S. senator and bringing about a new housing project in Hawaii . . . . . I was so delighted to get a.letter from 1258 Wall Street because I thought my recent in- vestment had paid. It was, however, a letter from Elaine who is now a broker for American Tel Tel and flies periodically between all the countries of the world. She has not forgotten her love for the Saint Lawrence and has her private yacht and visits there each summer..... As an All-Star graduate from Cortland State, Lee, our very own basketball star, has gone on to take the honored place of Bob Pettit of the St. Louis Hawks. In the summer he returns to his fabulous estate on the St. Lawrence where he entertains his fans by giving water ski shows. This summer he was surprised to have a visit from Elaine who was traveling in her yacht to Montreal..........Joan flew to Hollywood shortly after graduation and enrolled in a Celebrated Acting School. For the past few years her movies have drawn huge crowds in theaters all across the U.S. Joan is now taking the lead in the new smash Broadway hit......................We re- member that when Donna Langtry left H.C.S. she was undecided as to become an interior deco- rator, dietitian, or a school teacher. Knowing Donna she could do each one or all three at once. In spite of the fact she always had a nostalgia for Hammond, Love Changeth All. Directly after college, she married an Army officer and is now teaching .school in Tokyo, and does in- terior decorating as a sideline........The Ford Motor Company is proud to have Rene as their newly appointed Vice President. This appointment stemmed from Rene's invention of the new Beauderin VI Sports Car, which has overcome all its competitors in the United States. Rene 20
