The Hammond Central school cagers. edged a battling Clifton- Fine Central school team from Star Lake 63 to 82 on a basket and foul shot dropped through the hoop by Dave Marsaw in the closing moments of the game. Hammond, regular season winners of the St. Lawrence Valley league title, led the Clif- ton-Fine Indians 19 to 14 at the end of the first period. Dave lvlarsaw tallied 15 of the markers tallied by Hammond in the open- ing period. Marsaw finished the game with 30 points, high for the night.
