Prophecy Reggie McLear, an engineer in a large firm, is still avoiding the women. Roger Gilmer, owner of a funeral home, has just been called upon to bury the President of the United States. David Marsaw is running a Night Town Service down in Chippewa Bay for people who happen to get stuck on the ice. Tom Chapman still goes downstate to do some Ndearn hunting and has brought one back to show the family. Wendell Seymour is running an extensive dairy farm in Chippewa Bay Dale Schemerhorn is working on the plans for a bridge between Prescott and Ogdensburg. Shirley Simons, a nurse's aide, has finally decided she might try again to get a boyfriend. Patsy Brown, a general's wife has gone to Japan for a while to visit him. She took their five boys along also. Sandra Howie, head nurse at the House of the Good Samaritan, is visited quite often by her neighbor. I hear he now is driving a '57 Chevrolet convertible. Karen Hofferberth is the wife of one of the members of the Board of Supervisors from Hammond. Hazel Conklin, a graduate from Hammond Central School much to the delight of the teachers, is now driving her boss mad. Judy Turnbull is the mother and housekeeper to a batch of small Laidlaw's. Barbara Gove, secretary for the Night Town Service, is seriously thinking about becoming part owner. Janet Derochie is still living over in Rossie but is seen quite often skating on Rutherford's Arena in Hammond. 12
