M A Mass Qxg-,'f Misitmfcy 4-ffl The Class of l9Sh began its eventful career through high school with twenty-one members. During their Freshman year, Mr. Edward Brig- nal was our advisor. Some money-raising events held during the year included a Halloween Dance, a skating party, and a baked goods sale. As Sophomores we numbered nineteen. With Mr. Walter Garner as our advisor our treasury swelled as a result of a magazine subscription campaign. A Washington's Day Dance and a baked goods sale also helped increase the class fund. During our Junior year the nineteen members, with Miss Nelda Young as our advisor, held many fund-raising and social activities. Among these were a card party, a victory dance after the Morristown basket- ball game. An ice cream social, and, of course, the Junior Prom. As we entered our final year our number had decreased to seven- teen members. Assisted by our advisor, Mrs. Helen Eustis, we began arrangements for our trip to New York City and set out to increase our funds. We again proved our ability as salesmen through extensive stat- ionery sales. Class activities also included a card party, a hay ride, and the school paper. Because three-fourths of the class are girls it was a problem to choose a Senior Play which would give all the actresses a part and yet not require extra actors. A play, however, was finally selected and barring grave mishaps the class planned to present nLife of the Party.n The Class of 'Eh would like to thank all who have helped and sup- ported them, especially their advisors. To add to the treasury ,magazine subscriptions were sold and a Dance was held. Now they are juniors, numbering 19 again, and Mr. Donald Beaman is their adviser. Their class activities this year were a dance, card party and the sale of pens and autograph books. The most important event for the juniors will be the Junior Prom the last of June. One more year to go and their high school career will be finished. 15
