Lo-Price . . . construction . It's a place where you see President Bailey in Lloyd's Hamline can also be a very lonely place . . It's a special kind of place where you can do and be from where you come to where you want to go. . . . an interlude wherein mind, body, emotion, memory, hope, fear, and worldview become a more definite self.

Hamline is twenty faculty members and thirty students going away together for a weekend to discuss the school and to learn about each other. It's where students attend Trustees meetings. Hamline is where the Old Main gang and the Drew Gang get togeth- er for a night. Hamline is worth it . . . every bit ofit! Hamline is my responsibility, held loosely but lovingly in my hands for this moment in time. When I am gone, a moment from now, Hamline will be held responsibly by someone else.
