President Fordts Son, Steve, Steve Ford, son of President and Mrs. Gerald R. Ford, brought the presidential race to focus in Hamlin Oct. 5 with an informal speech and question-answer session in the HHS cafetorium. The civics classes posed questions covering the various campaign issues to the well-informed and plain-speaking, 21-year-old Ford to high- light the 45-minute session. The experience helped enlighten and spur interest in the student body for the upcoming election. The youthful Ford also attended a reception at the First Baptist Church and a luncheon with the Lions and Rotary Clubs during his visit. i 1 0
