After losing their only district contest 33-22 to Crowell, the Pipers' only hope for the loop championship depended on a askell upset of league-leading Crowell, which the Indians promptly provided in the final Friday of district competition. l Thus Hamlin's 38-6 snow-covered, one-half drubbing of Rotan sent the locals to Abilene, where they held off the Baird Sears 20-14. 5 The Regional loss to Seagraves, 34-0, was played in Big Spring. 7-A All-District Performers Offense First team: Thompson-running back Young-tackle Second team: Lakey-tackle jones-running back Brown-split end Honorable mention: Ledbetter-end Maberry-end Reynolds-quarterback T.
