Guidance Guidance services this year were concerned with testing and evaluating, aiding students in the selection of subjects (by correct level and sequence), helping with vocational and further- education placement, and carrying out other basic functions. Special stress, however, was placed on presenting programs, such as speakers and films that were directly requested by students. The Student Council’s Guidance Advisory Committee enabled the guidance department to be more responsive to such student requests. DONALD W. Administrators An outstanding administration is the basis for an outstanding school. Hamilton-Wenham Regional is fortunate to have administrators who are deeply interested in maintaining high standards, and continuing improvements in the education of to- morrow’s citizens. This year the administration adopted a rotating schedule of daily classes; modernized the curric- ulum by offering earth science, electronics, and readings in Hispanic literature; and effectively utilized the teacher-training program of North- eastern University.
