Momentarily distracted from an important game, jo Sisson and Debbie Lake exchange a juicy piece of gossip. UN QD Q Q C0 N A 'Q QD 'Q O 86 QD 'Q S 'B C0 Q Q rs. L 'sw Backing their teams all the way this year were both the boys, and the girls' booster clubs, with more members and more spirit than ever before. For the first time in the history of the school, the two clubs worked in cooper- ation with each other to produce joint cheers that added much to the atmo- sphere and excitement of basketball G Although white socks and saddle oxfords were the usual uni- form for the girls, Senior Shirley Beaver displays her individ- uality by displaying her not-so-usual socks and shoes. games. Both clubs had record memberships of over 70 supporters a piece. Instead of buying outfits just for sec- tionals, the girls, club made outfits that were done before the start of basketball season. They were worn to each home game, four away games and sectionals. To make the occasion seem a little more special, the girls added flowers to their attire for sectionals. The sponsor this year was Miss Sharon Roswog. Sponsored by basketball coach, Mr. Mike Shumaker, the Boys' Booster Club showed its spirit through special cheers, signs, skits and an abundant amount of spirit. The more spirited clubs this year should lead the way to bigger and bet- ter clubs next year and spur the teams on to even better seasons.
