N , .ui . 4 2,2 - X. i The Beacon Restaurant was the set- ting for the 1974-75 junior-Senior Prom held on May 9. This year,s theme for the prom was Stairway to Heavenf, Seating began at 7:30 p.m. with the sophomore class officers serving as ush- ers. The dinner was served buffet style and included roast beef, fried chicken and Seafood Newburg. A five-man band, Fox,,' provided the music for the evening. Between dances, couples enjoyed tak- ing boat rides and walking on the bal- cony overlooking the water. A bright moon and plenty of stars added to the romantic atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the queen and king. After being announced by junior class offi- cers George Zeller and Kim Marks, Se- niors Nancy Anderson and Brian Marks took to the floor for their solo dance. After the prom, people scattered to play miniature golf, go bowling, or eat breakfast at Wayne-F all Lions Club. The next day, many couples attended the first day of qualifications at the 500 Speedway and others went to Turkey Run State Park. 58 5: - E isfii .......1 Undecided on the selection of a meal, Kim Smith consults Nick Cheronis on his choice. - y Good imes This year was a year of Good Times for the Hamilton Southeastern Wrestlers. The team finished its season with the school's best record ever in the sport of wrestling-a seven win five loss record. The team also set other firsts for the school when Rick Rhoades won the Range Line Conference in the unlim- ited weight class and Steve McLean and Dave Hilton each placed fourth in the wrestling sectionals. No Royal had ever placed in the sectional before. The Royals lost three first-string se- niors this year in Dan Ross, Rick Rhoades and Bill Schwartz. But, seven retuming lettermen and three reserve wrestlers will still remain to keep up the team's good work during the 1975-76 season. Maneuvering for a take down whilc trying to keep his opponent from ewaping oil' thc cdgc of the mat is junior Fred Barge. M 1m. 60 Caught on the bottom, Freshman Todd Brown strains to push his opponent away. Working for a take down, Brcnt Fulton tries to throw his opponent off halancc.
