Parades, concerts and ball games are all important performances for the band, majorettes and the chorus. Many hours. of hard work and practicing go into a good performance. t Good leadership and guidance was provided by Mr. Newton, hand direc- tor, Mrs. Rust, chorus instructor and Mrs. Toclr, s majorette sponsor. These people gave their time and knowledge so that the performances were the very best. Many important performances were given by the band and majorettes throughout the year such as the Noble- sville Christmas parade, Homecoming half-time and the Greenfield parade. The chorus presented a concert on Nov. 24 and sang at Connor Prarie Farm dur- ing December. The productions of the band and chorus added a needed balance lie- tween sports, academics and the arts.
