Ill Inductus ol National Honor Society show signs of ncnousncss along with happiness. Participants in girls' sports are given full recogni- tion at the NVintcr Sports Banquet. It is often hard to give everyone who gets involved in events the full appre- ciation that is deserved. Many banquets and other means, such as convos, were held in order to give full recognition to students who did outstanding work in some way. Such things as the Fall, Winter and Spring Sports Banquets, Tri-M, Quill and Scroll, Future Homemakers of America, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society Convo, and various language club programs were given during the year. At these programs, various award pre- sentations and ceremonies were per- formed. F or example, the inductees of National Honor Society were called for- ward one-hy-one in the style of the Price is Right' game show, and at the Quill and Scroll Banquet, the Journalist of the Year Award was given.
