Field trips highlighted this years in- school activities. Several clubs and classes took interesting and fun trips. One of the most outstanding trips of the year was the Spanish Clubis trip to Mexico. They visited Mexico City and many other interesting sites such as the worldis largest pyramids and several his- toric monuments. Honor Society Sponsor Mrs. Roma Peterson took the Honor Society Club to Nashville, Ind., to visit the antique shops. Government students took a day off school to go to the State Building in In- dianapolis. The students toured the building, seeing the governoris office and the room in which Congress meets. Discovering the inside works of mak- ing a big newspaper and the processes involved, were advanced journalism students at the Indianapolis Star. A trip to the Indian Museum at Eagle Creek State Park was taken by the world lit class. The German and French Clubs went to Ball State University to attend a For- eign Language Day. Each Club split up to attend various mock classes. Excited Spanish Club students load their luggage into a van.
