Royal ' tie school's best record Improved was the word this year for the Hamilton Southeastem football team. ' This was the second year with Mr. Enright as head coach for the team. Last year the team had 3 wins and 7 losses which was improved this year to an even season of 5 wins and 5 losses. This record tied the schools best season record. Also improved this year was the con- dition of the equipment, since all of the pads were sent back for reconditioning. 'I'here was also some new equipment purchased for the team. They received new seven man sled and a tackle-matic which were used constantly during the football season. The team lost one player due to in- juries. Bmce Brown received a knee in- jury in practice about mid-season. Bruce played linebacker and was a regular starter before the injury occured. Rob Moore, Keith Hendricks, Dale Bryant and Kip Cable made all confer- ence team. It was the first time any of them made All Conference. The Royals lost eight seniors, but should have a strong team retuming for the next season. While trying to break a tackle, Mike Latty fol- lows Dale Bryant in an attempt for a big yardage gain.
