The 1975 Sceptre was produced to highlight some of the past yearis activi- ties. We tried to cover as many of the memorable happenings in the school as we possibly could. This book is a memory book and when you look at it 5, 10, or 15 years from now it should help bring back the good times you had during your school years. This year we did a lot of rearranging in the yearbook. The organization pictures were put together in the book, making more room on the pages for more inter- esting action pictures. We also added some color this year- the first of any amount ever in a South- eastem book. I want to thank my fantastic staff that helped me make it through the good and bad times throughout the en- tire year. It is these people that have made this book possible. Mike Quear Editor EW

riding, boating, swimming, hiking and sunbathing were a few of the many ac- tivities enjoyed by members of the class. The last Friday for the class of '75 was marked by having a slave day,' when each senior could choose an un- derclassman to be his slave for the en- tire day. Boys dressed in bikinis and dresses, clown outfits and bizarre makeup were seen throughout the day. Semester tests for the graduating class were taken on May 19 and 20. The next day the senior convo took place at 9:15 a.m. Here, gag prizes were awarded, the class prophecy was read and the seniors gleefully left the school, not to return until graduation practice. x A Not wanting Mr. Fine to forget their class, thc se- nior class officers presented the principal with Mad and Crips magazines so he could always be reminded of the class of '75.
