The Business World Begins at School Students more interested in entering the busi- ness world than becoming involved in the pro- fessions may get a head start in Southeastern's outstanding business department. Many different machines are available for instruction and prac- tice. Student librarians gain practical experience while helping the Mrs. Evelyn Fortier tends the storehouse library to run smoothly. Of kl10W19dS6- ln addition to teaching typing and shorthand, Mr. Frank Rhea is the purchaser of school supplies. Sceptre cameras catch Mrs. Marilyn Bailey Qabovej who appears to be cutting out paper dolls. She ac- tually is preparing bulletin board material for her business classes. Mrs. Marty Davis frightj instructs students in business math, typing and bookkeeping. 67

These are the students who help the cafeteria staff operate the two chow lines. Much responsibility relies upon the shoulders of the corps of bus drivers. An amiable cooking crew efficiently feeds SOO-plus students daily. Mrs. Rush makes her rounds. Personnel Perform Needed School Services Mrs. Morris assures the students and staff of clean towels and bathing Suits while Mr. George Wood and Mr. Lyn Wainscott handle everything from shoveling snow to cleaning the rooms in preparation for the next day's activities. 66 T

Mr. David Roberts utilizes the language lab facilities for his Spanish classes. Grammar and Literature teacher, Mrs. Arlene Clark helps develop the culture of junior high students. French and Latin teacher, Mr. Cole Watkins, picks up his mail. As well as teaching high school English, Mrs. Roma Peterson is the senior class sponsor. Mrs. Norma Bamberger teaches the underclass- men English classes. As yearbook and newspaper sponsor, Mr. Keith Well- man, rules with an iron hand to meet deadlines.
