Dedication This year's Sceptre has been designed with YOU in mind. It wasn't construc- ted to satisfy a panel of judges somewhere else in the United States or the world but hopefully it is a report of What's Happening during the 1967-68 school year. We tried many new ideas and a few experiments, we hope successfully. We won't know how successful it has been for several years, because that's when you will put it to a test. If it brings a lump to your throat then or reminds you of the many happy experiences for unhappy, as the case may bel, then it can be judged a success. As editor of the book, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to sev- eral persons. First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Fred Plocher of American Yearbook Company, without whose help and advice the book would never have been possible . Also, I want to thank Mr. Paul Brady and Porter Studio for their excellent cooperation and fine photography. Several students, too many to name, were a big help, and Iwant to thank them for selling ads and subscriptions, helping with the layout and content of the book, and their general support throughout the entire procedure. The faculty and administration have been most co-operative, and thanks are extended to them, especially to our advisor, Mr. Keith Wellman, who proved to be a Dad to us all. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to edit this book, and I know there will be no end to the satisfaction I will receive in the years to come as I leaf through its pages.
