Americans have been faced with challenge and change since the first settlers landed on the Eastern Seaboard. They faced that challenge, and made the changes. They established a country unique to the world--one populated by people from many lands whose cultures and philosophies blended 1IlIO a new tradition of freedom of choice, in- dependence, exploration and individual par- ticipation in government. Early in America's history it was realized that if she was to be free then men's minds must be free, and this could only come about through a sound educa- tional system. The student body, the faculty and friends of Hamilton Park High School, steeped in the desire to achieve, to build a better mouse trap, to make a noble contribution to school and community said We will publish a yearbook.
