GREATEST BAR DANCEE ER The senior class presented one of the most lively and complete Barn Dances that HHS has ever seen. Gambling booths and card tables adorned one end of the multi-purpose room and a bar was situated at the opposite end. The Barn Dance was made complete with revolving light, live music, hay bales, and two old carriages. 74

HCMECOMI G HIGHLIGHTS FOCTB LL The long-planned Homecoming activities came to a climax on October 18 when cheerleader Karla Johnson was crowned queen of the annual affair. The court was presented at the football game, which the Broncs won by defeating the Deer Lodge Wardens 41-7. Adding to the spirit of Homecoming was the HHS band with its halftime show, The Space Age Comes to Hamilton. The game was preceded by a snake dance and followed by a school dance. Queen: Pam Branton King: joe Melensek Seniors Pam Brenton and joe Malensek were crowned Queen and King of the annual Christmas Ball held on December 21. A large crowd attended the formal dance theme of which was Fire and Ice. CHRISTMAS BALL HUGE SUCCESS The dance was sponsored by Girls' Club, a service organization. Music was furnished by Vinal's Orchestra. 75
