Guy J. Castranova Sandra J. Cathcart Leone A. Chapman Academic A four-year member of the Make-up Club, Lee also belonged to the G.A.A., P.S,8cD., and Gadget Club. She likes swimming and classical music. After gradu- ation she expects to prepare for a nursing career at Lackenaw Hospital. Lee was an honor student. Jack J. Chiavetta General Jack was a member of the Highlights of Sports and Wrestling Clubs. An intramural member for four years, he was elected chairman of his sophomore homeroom. Upon graduating, Jack would like to enter a trade school and eventually become a mason. Guy J. Castranova General A four-year intramural member, Guy belonged to the Model-Making Club for three years, Checkers, and Highlights of Sports Clubsq Outside of school, Guy's main interest is cars, After graduating, he hopes to enter Trenton Junior College to study electrical engineering. Sandra J. Cathcart Commercial One of Hamilton's pretty majorettes, Sandy kept in shape working as a squad leader in gym and playing intramurals. She acted as homeroom chairman in her sophomore year. Coles Academic Edie , a member of Babysitting, Future Teachers of America, G.A.A., and Chemistry Clubs, lists her hobbies as dancing, reading and swimming. Edie also enjoys sports, having played hockey and baseball. Twice Mr. Quimby's secretary, she will enter the Uni- versity of Maryland and become a welfare worker. Myrna I. Comiskey General The many clubs that Myrna belonged to include Checkers, Library, Secretarial Practice, and Athletic Ofhcials. She played intramural volleyball and base- ball and was elected gym class captain in her sopho- more year. Myrna's hobbies are ice skating and swim- ming. Her future is undecided, Q97 Leone A. Chapman jack J. Chiavetta Mary Ann T. Chiavetta Commercial Mary Ann came to us from St. Joachim's. In her sophomore year she joined the Babysitting Club. As a senior she became a member of Secretarial Practice Club. Collecting stamps is listed as her favorite subject. Mary Ann hopes to become a stenographer after her graduation. Betty F. Clark Academic Betty came to Hamilton shortly after the start of the freshman year from Madison Junior High in New- ark. At Hamilton she was a member of the Gadget Club, Stage Design, and the Honor Society. Betty edited the Senior Play page for Retrospect. She'll enter Pratt Institute in the fall. Jack hopes to enlist in the Navy and already is an apprentice for a boat captain's license. 3 le? 3' I if John V. Byrne General John came to us in his junior year from Trenton Catholic. He was a member of the Beginners Typing Club, an active participant in intramurals, and served as his homeroom secretary for two years. John hopes to enter the Navy after graduating from Hamilton. Jon P. Burmeister John V. Byrne Alberta L. Caponi Commercial Al was our class secretary-treasurer. For four years she served as homeroom secretary. Adept at dancing, Al tripped the light fantastic in Modern Dance. An all-round girl, Al was active in sports and captained a squad of the Orange team. She'll be a secretary after graduation. Richard Carnall Academic Dick was a four-year track team member and played intramurals for four years. He helped decorate for the junior prom and sang in the senior choir. Swimming, fishing, hunting, and boating are his favorite hobbies. An engineering course at Trenton Junior College will be Dick's next step. Alberta L. Caponi Richard Carnall Mildred J. Carothers Commercial Millie attended Trenton Central High School for two years before joining us at Hamilton. While at Trenton High she participated in Sports Night and also played on a softball team. Mildred, whose hobby is collecting records, plans to be a secretary after graduation. Nancy A. Carr Commercial 3' ' Nancy, a Hall Patrol member, was squad leader in her gym class and ping-pong champ during her fresh- man year. Casto Commercial Judy did not attend Hamilton during her freshman year. When she came to us from Christian Day, Judy joined the Sewing and Typing Clubs. Her hobby is skating.
