A. Joseph Cicon Ruth M. Clevenger Joan I. Collins General Joan, who transferred from Burlington, Ver- mont, late in her senior year, enjoys music and was a member of the Glee Club in Cathedral High School in Burlington. She prefers a business career, however, and hopes to study at Rider College after her graduation from Hamilton. Lavina M. Colton General Lavina, who came from K. A., belonged to the Newspaper Club there. At Hamilton she belonged to the Variety, Sports Appreciation, and Typing Clubs. Her favorite hobby is roller skating. Lavina plans to go into the Marines after graduation. Jerome E. Connelly Commercial Jerry participated in all intramural sports during his four years at Hamilton. He was also in High- lights of Sports, Checkers, and Ping Pong Clubs. He enjoys working on cars and says of his future- t'If the Army doesn't get me, a service station will. James W. Conover Academic James, a member of the Checkers, Varsity H, and Arts and Leisures Clubs, was also active in intra- mural sports and played football all four years in high school. Cook Gerald E. Cooper A. Joseph Cicon Commercial Intramurals played an important part in Joe's life at Hamilton. As might be expected, sports are his hobbies. He was a member of the Cooking and Ping Pong Clubs. His plans for the future include a trade school and time in the Navy. Ruth M. Clevenger Commercial Ruth, a member of the Embroidery and Variety Clubs, served on the Student Patrol and played intramural volley ball. Colton Jerome E. Connelly James W. Conover Robert K. Cook General Bob came to Hamilton High School at the begin- ning of his sophomore year from Junior High School No. 2. During his three years here, Bob took an active part in intramural sports. After graduating from Hamilton High School, Bob plans to be a salesman. Gerald E. Cooper Academic Gerry, who is interested in photography, joined the Photography Club, and was Retrospect photo- grapher. He went out for track and also played basketball. A member of the Honor Society, Gerry plans to enter college to prepare for a career as a mining engineer.

Antoinette E. Caponi Commercial Anne, a former student of Junior No. 4 and Trenton High, came to Hamilton as a junior and joined the Sports Appreciation and Publicity Clubs, and was a member of the intramural baseball team. Anne plans to be a secretary or ofiice worker after graduation. Laura J. Carpenter Commercial Laura, a member of the Modern Dance group and of the P. S. and D. club, acted as squad leader and Leader Corp girl in a number of her gym classes. She participated in intramural archery, volley ball, baseball, and badminton. At Hamilton she joined the Variety, Junior and Senior Dramatics, and Make-Up Clubs, was in the Hal- loween window painting contests, and played intramural sports. She hopes to become a tele- phone operator. Irene E. Chludzinski Commercial Irene transferred from Prospect Heights H. S., Brooklyn, N. Y., to Hamilton for her senior year. Glee Club secretary, Home Room president, Supply Squad, and Guard member, Irene maintained honor grades for two years. She hopes to go on to Rider College after graduation. Antoinette E. Caponi Laura J. Carpenter Thomas B. Carr Academic Tom transferred from Trenton Catholic in his sophomore year and soon became active in ath- letics. Homeroom chairman for two years, he joined Arts and Leisures and Varsity H Clubs and starred at center for the football squad. He intends to enter State Teachers College. Joyce A. Carson Academic Joyce came to Hamilton from Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia. She was active in Hamilton's choir and participated in the Music Festival. A member of the French Club and Honor Society, Joyce enjoys postcard collecting. Her future plans are indefinite. Donald R. Cathcart General Don was very active in all the intramural sports during his four year stay at Hamilton, and also went out for track in junior and senior years. He likes hunting, fishing, and boating. After grad- uation he hopes to enter into construction work. John N. Charyk General A leading sports figure and a two-year Varsity Soccer player, John was picked for the All-State Team. He played intramurals, was president of Highlights of Sports, belonged to the Ofiicials and Varsity H Club, and was a homeroom officer. He will join the National Guards. Kathryne A. E Ellen Marie S. Cope Commercial Ellen, a member of the Modern Dance, Library, and Secretarial Practice Clubs, worked in the library, and also played intramural baseball. She has an interesting hobby of collecting small foreign dolls. Ellen plans to attend a business college to prepare for a secretarial career. Walter R. Costello General Sports are Walter's hobby. For four years he participated in all intramural sports-football, soccer, basketball, and baseball, and belonged to the Highlights of Sports and Checkers Clubs. He was an honor student and intends to enter the Navy. Said enjoys playing cards and Working on cars. He intends to enter the restaurant business after serving in the Navy. John J. Cullen Academic John, a member of the Varsity H Club for two years, was active in intramural sports during his high school career. He played J. Cottrell General Dale, a gym leader, intramural captain, and a member of the Gym Leaders Club during his four years at Hamilton, participated in intramural basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. Hunting and nshing are his hobbies, but he is interested in service station work for the future. Beverly M. Cowell Commercial Bev made All-State Chorus as a freshman, was a four-year Choir member, and participated in all musical programs and in two operettas, and was Choir Chairman. Twice a homeroom secretary and squad leader, she played baseball. Beverly will be a bookkeeper or typist. Beryl K. Crecelius General Beryl, a former student of Sarasota High, Florida, started at Hamilton in September 1952. At Sarasota she belonged to the Typing Club, and the Y.W.C.A. Glee Club. Beryl intends to do secretarial work and is confident of a position at the Furniture Center in Trenton. Kenneth C. Crosley Academic Ken belonged to the Checkers and Chemistry Clubs, and participated in intramurals, and was senior manager of the football team. Among his favorite sports are baseball and basketball.
