PhYl1iS Bush James Butler Earl Carter Sherwood Carter A J Henry Case Helen Catana Joyce Champion Phyllis Bush Commercial Phyllis plans to study singing at Juilliard School of Music. A Choir and Operetta Chorus member, she also enjoys art and has been Mrs. Combs' secretary, and a member of Yardls Fashion Board as well. James Butler General Jim is a genuine boxing enthusiast. As yet he doesn't consider himself a serious threat to Joe Louis, however. He also likes foot- ball. He will supply good service to the Navy some day. J. Arthur Carlton Academic Arthur likes basketball and has the height to play it well. The highest ranking boy in his class, he is an Academic whizv and plans to attend Lawrenceville Prep with Chemical Engineering in mind. Earl Carter Academic Hold that posev for Earl the Photography fan. He gets good results too. His other activities include Chess and Checkers and Leisure Hour Clubs. His new Chevvy con- vertible is really neat. Sherwood Carter Academic Sherry collects records and loves to dance. A member of Hamilton's excellent Choir, he hopes to pursue the Liberal Arts Course of- fered at Lycoming College in Pennsylvania. Henry Case General A sparky outfield man, Casey has had two years of service on the varsity baseball squad. He was also '4Big Foot of soccer combo. Bromley's gift to the world. He is an all- around swell guy. Helen Catana Commercial Helen, who left Trenton High School to be- come a Hamilton Forty-Ninern, has been a member of this year's Canteen committee. ln the future she ho es she will be a rivate P P secretary. Joyce Champion Commercial Joyce has been Mr. Pierson's able secretary. She is lots of fun and enjoys all sports, especially baseball and ice skating. She will become a secretary in the business world after graduation.

Rose Bentley Commercial Donlt let Rose fool you. Her quiet manner hides a natural love of teasing. She takes her work seriously, however, and will be a good secretary and a fine addition to a busi- ness oflice. i Gerald Black General This black-haired Scot, a member of Miss Baird's choir, plays a trombone in the or- chestra. He was Marty , a shiek, in the operetta. His hobbies are fishing and swim- ming, and farming is his future. Frank Bozarth General A good-natured fellow with a heart of gold, thatls Frank. He emotes with the Senior Dramaticsg tinkers with the Tinkers Club, and is an avid model airplane fan. Marie Bradley Commercial Marie,s irrepressible laughter bubbled forth in Secretarial Practice, on the Leader Corps, and with the august Yearbook staff. This cheery addition to any group will study at Rider College to become a medical secretary. Charles Bryan General Uncle Sam's Navy will gain another good boy in blue when Charlie leaves school. With high school service to his credit, he naturally thinks baseball is tops. He is also a member of the Typing Club. Allan Burkert Academic This expert amateur mechanic likes to tinker with cars in any form. He prefers baseball as a sport, is a member of the operetta chorus, and will bring light to the World as an electrician. Wallace Burkus Commercial Interior decoration seems to be a natural field for talented Wally. His clubs this year include Senior Dramatics and the Metal Shop. He dreams of a yacht for Carribean Cruises. Terrella Burney General Terrella is a happy-natured girl who enjoys all types of sports, especially hockey and baseball. She also likes sewing and plans to become an interior decorator. Her interest in Home Economics should make her a SLICCCSS. Lloyd Cherry Academic Lloyd makes nifty model railroad setups. He likes basketball, collects stamps, is a De- Molay member and a member of the Tinkers and Senior Dramatics Clubs. Drafting with Mechanical Drawing will occupy his future time. Valeria Choma General Valeria's ambition is to be a telephone op- erator. Playing the piano and singing are more interesting to her than athletic sports. She is a member of the Choir and makes a hobby of collecting poems. Eleanor Christensen General Eleanor once hoped to be a medical secre- tary in a doctor,s office but now plans to study the comptometer instead. Music in- terests her and she has been a member of the Choir. Warren Class Academic Warren was the chauffeur in Red Milln. He marched with our color guard and is a Naval Reserve member. He likes biology and me- chanical drawing and plans on an electrical course at the School of Industrial Arts. Dolores Cleary Academic The nursing profession attracts Dolores. She will enter training soon after graduation. As a G. A. A. member, Dolores captained the hockey team. Her bright, cheery nature should be an asset in a hospital room. Leo Cocciarelli General A Navy cruise convinced Leo. He will join up when school lets out. A good-natured fellow, he will give sea chanties the same fervor he gave to his songs on the Washing- ton trip. Marjorie Colgan Academic Marjorie, a member of the Usher's Club, the Yearbook Staff, and the Honor Society, ranks third in her class. A good chemistry 'stu- dent, she will make a good nurse-none nicer to soothe a fevered brow. Grace Cooper Commercial Grace plans to add her blonde charm to the secretarial field. She likes sports, especially baseball, and has played on the Class and Color team in basketball. She also belongs to the Ping-Pong Club.
