She has been a member of the Choir, the Glee Club, and of the Operetta chorus. After graduation she will study religion and music at Bob Jones University. Michael Basso General The wide blue yondern of the Air Corps will claim Mike upon graduation. His clubs in- clude metal shop. He enjoys Work with motors, and owns that ancient, orange and black wreck of a car. Jane Baus Commercial Jane has been Mill Houlroyd's calm and col- lected library secretary. Aside from her sec- retarial duties, Jane likes to participate in certain sports and to Watch all of them. She plans to become a secretary. Florence Beck Commercial l7lorence's piano-accordion has already brought her fame, not only in our assembly, but in radio and television as well. After a vacation in California, she will enter the Rochester School of Music to prepare for teaching. A. Elizabeth Beiger Commercial T-E-A-M, music, and inexhaustible energy- that's Bettee. She's been Captain of the cheer leaders, Irene in Hollywood Extran, and a member of the Modern Dance Group as well as a choir member. Singing will be her future. Pasquale Bellis General Pat supplies the Choir With a strong, clear voice. He Was a uHollyWood Extra . One of g'Di Mag,s strongest and most loyal fans, baseball is his first love. He would like to become a state employee. John Bellow General One of the boys in orange who made music at the football games, John is also a choir member. He drove a flashy, new Ford to the Senior Ball. Agriculture is his future work. Doris Belmont Commercial An all-round good sport, a G. A. A. Council member, and a member of the hockey and basketball color teams, Doris also enjoys Sports Appreciation. She would like to be a clerk in the State House.

Phyllis Babbitt Commercial A member of the ,Modern Dance Group, Leader Corps, and Senior Dramatics, Phyllis is also an aspiring poet. This blonde-haired, blue-eyed girlis amiable smile will prove an asset to her as a model or designer. Henrietta Babula Commercial Henrietta has a pleasant smile and a person- ality to match it. She enjoys singing in the school choir and listening to classical music. Henrietta plans matrimony in the near future. A. Daniel Bacon Academic Dan is an avid sportsman, preferring hunting and fishing. He is partial to Wild West stories, wears snazzy looking sweaters, and aspires to be either a vet or forester in years to come. Shirley Baggaley Commercial Shirley is short in stature but not in fun. A Leader Corps and. Hockey Color 'lieam member, and G. A. A. ilireasurer, her duties as lVliss Willey's and Miss 'lihompson's sec- retary should bear fruit in the future. Shirley Baker Commercial Shirley's specialties are singing, typing, and Leader Corps. She has been a member of lVliss l3aird's choir and choruses and a mem- ber of the Hockey Color Team as well. She is a future secretary. lflaine Banker Commercial One of the '6Ruths in Dear Ruth , Elaine, who is lVlr. KauFfman's secretary, has spent many moments figuring out confusing chem- istry symbols. For the future she hopes to master the How now brown cow routine and study dramatics. Lois Bargholz Academic With Lois, dreamy blue eyes and a placid nature hide a humorous personality. She really likes hockey and basketball, and chem- istry is her favorite subject. She'll be a nurse at lVlcKinley Hospital some day. 'leanette Barnes Commercial jeanette's pleasing manner and calm eth- ciency should be a boon to some harried executive some day. The Nurses' Oflice knows her worth as does the Yearbook Staff. Rose Bentley Commercial Donlt let Rose fool you. Her quiet manner hides a natural love of teasing. She takes her work seriously, however, and will be a good secretary and a fine addition to a busi- ness oflice. i Gerald Black General This black-haired Scot, a member of Miss Baird's choir, plays a trombone in the or- chestra. He was Marty , a shiek, in the operetta. His hobbies are fishing and swim- ming, and farming is his future. Frank Bozarth General A good-natured fellow with a heart of gold, thatls Frank. He emotes with the Senior Dramaticsg tinkers with the Tinkers Club, and is an avid model airplane fan. Marie Bradley Commercial Marie,s irrepressible laughter bubbled forth in Secretarial Practice, on the Leader Corps, and with the august Yearbook staff. This cheery addition to any group will study at Rider College to become a medical secretary. Charles Bryan General Uncle Sam's Navy will gain another good boy in blue when Charlie leaves school. With high school service to his credit, he naturally thinks baseball is tops. He is also a member of the Typing Club. Allan Burkert Academic This expert amateur mechanic likes to tinker with cars in any form. He prefers baseball as a sport, is a member of the operetta chorus, and will bring light to the World as an electrician. Wallace Burkus Commercial Interior decoration seems to be a natural field for talented Wally. His clubs this year include Senior Dramatics and the Metal Shop. He dreams of a yacht for Carribean Cruises. Terrella Burney General Terrella is a happy-natured girl who enjoys all types of sports, especially hockey and baseball. She also likes sewing and plans to become an interior decorator. Her interest in Home Economics should make her a SLICCCSS.
