LEWIS RADER The Senior Council is the executive body of the Senior class. It consists of twelve members: the four officers of the class and the homeroom representatives, At the opening of the school year each homeroom elects a representative. These people meet and conduct the election of class officers whom the entire class nominates and elects. The Council meets every Wednesday activities period to discuss problems of the class. The Get-Together, Senior Play, Wasliington Trip, Class Night, Senior Ball, and graduation are examples of the interests of the group. The Council practices parliamentary procedure and the chairman of each meeting is either the president or the vice-president. The Seniors sponsored the second annual Senior Get-to-Getherf' This affair was a huge success socially. The Senior play, The Family Uprnzin, was presented. This proved to he both entertaining and profitable. The Washington trip was sponsored and one hundred and eighty- eight students enjoyed a delightful trip. The Council worked diligently on the Senior Ball, class night, and graduation. These projects require time, patience, planning, and the practical use of budgeting.
