The faculty advisers helped these pupils become ad- justed to their new surroundings and. to their new work. On December 17, a sophomore class party was held in the auditorium followed by a dance in the gymnasium. All sophomores attended and contributed their talents toward making the affair a success. On April 23, the annual sophomore class dance took place. The orchestra committee with Carol Davis as chairman chose Johnny Bett's or- chestra. The decorating committee headedlUfCarolyn Hoovenlnade the gymnasium attractive. The chair- man of the ticket committee was Barbara Welliver Hand the floor committee was managed byBurlGlover.Agrand march and circle dances proved a source of fine entertainment dur- ing the intermission. The Class ofl943 has been in Hamilton High X- School ayear and has en- joyed itvery much and is eagerly look- ing forwardto the opening of the next school year.
