Illustrating the emotions of color Cloth pa ' iitings are hung up to dr The muted fluorescence of sunset, the invigorating green of spring— scenes that stir the soul of man, scenes that fade into time. Yet, for the artist, beauty is not merely a breathtaking spectacle; it is a consuming ex- perience, a discipline requiring sensitivity and long hours of work. The results— seeing shades of coloring, shadows, lines, and angles, perceiving reality in a new way and capturing it— can be seen by all of us in the annual Spring Art Festival. Art students seek to con- vert the fading scenes of time into timelessness— this is the challenge and exhilaration of Art.
