VARSITY BRAINS AND BRAWN Posting a 2-5-1 record this season, the varsity foot- ball team lost several close contests. Half-back Ron Joostberns led in rushing with 624 yards in 118 carries and also led the team in scoring along with Gary Jurries with 32 points. Quarterback Cal Schrotenboer completed 37 out of 93 pass attempts for 469 yards and 4 touchdowns. Chosen most valuable was Ron Joost- berns, while Dave Maatman received the Most Im- proved award.
