President, Jill Colwell; Vice-President, Marsha Hayes; Secretary, Nancy Clay; and Treasurer, Constance Hill. Joan Caraganis and Richard Toomey were elected as Student Council representatives. Many of the boys were active in sports. Doug Surpitski, John Ayers, Gordon Lamson and Gordon Webb participated in football. The girls participated in field hockey and soft- ball. The students joined many of the school clubs and activities. 16

They have shown their academic ability by having the only person in grades nine through twelve who made the High Honor Roll for the first quarter, Nancy Hall. Elizabeth Dawe, James Mortimer, Barbara Smith and Robert Peterson were on the Honor Roll. Many of the boys played football, baseball and basketball, and several girls were active in basketball and field hockey. Many students partici- pated in the other clubs and activities. The class held a Sophomore Hop this fall. 18
