Thomas Wetson, Gordon Webb, Marilyn Sheppard, Joyce Mason, Janice Lightbody, Linda Stone, Carol Perkins, Gardner MacGregor, Charles Tremblay, Henry Stelline Albert Sanford, Robert Shimer, Robert Sahagan, Richard Toomey, Donald McGinley, Douglas Surpitski, Philip Piotrowski, Albert Smerczynski, Gordon Lam son Grade 9 Now well on their way in their first year of high school, the freshman class has elected as officers. President, Jill Colwell; Vice-President, Marsha Hayes; Secretary, Nancy Clay; and Treasurer, Constance Hill. Joan Caraganis and Richard Toomey were elected as Student Council representatives. Many of the boys were active in sports. Doug Surpitski, John Ayers, Gordon Lamson and Gordon Webb participated in football. The girls participated in field hockey and soft- ball. The students joined many of the school clubs and activities. 16

Academically and athletically, the Class of 1963 has achieved a great deal. The High Honor students for the first quarter were Cynthia Ellison, Ann Heurlin, Dreaner Giles, Carolyn Thomas, Jan Askrnan and Brock Mattern. Dorcas Brannun, Edith Lavoie, Jane Russell, Margaret Kerr, Sally Nystedt and Donna Smerage were Honor Students. Many of the boys participated in Junior High Basketball and the girls, field hockey. 15
