CLASS OF 1956 Twenty mne Jolly Juniors enrolled in September making the largest class in high school Larry Baker moved to Butler Indiana leaving twenty eight in the class We had one new member from Roanoke Indiana a bashful boy that will answer to the name of Terry Dorman Mrs Thelma Snyder and Mrs Joan Goodship were our sponsors the first semester and Mr Clayton Elliott took over the last semester We received our class rings from the Herff Jones Co December 13 Our money making projects were county coach and principals supper penny supper and concession stands at the carnxvals Jim Emerson our business manager was in charge of the concessions at the basketball games Miss Mrsfortune had Gary Zeigler in the hospital for an acute 3PPCl'ldlClIlS and a broken arm Congratulations are in order for our candidates Joyce Rosenberry and Herbert Zexgler who won the title of Carnival Queen and Wolf Sandra Kenyon exchanged vows with Vlc Clark from Pleasant Lake Indiana on January 10 Our class play Tom Sawyer under the direction of Mrs Crain was given in March Our class officers this year were President Gary Zelgler Vice President Bob Howard Treasurer Larry Stbert Secretary Rita Wtllennar Reporter Sandy Husselman Business Manager J1m Emerson and Student Council Representative Elizabeth Lautzenhxser Standmg Larry Sibert Mr Elliott Jimmy Emerson, Elizabeth Lautzenhiser Sitting Sandy Husselman, Robert Howard Rita Wllhnnar . . . .
