SALUTATORIA Friends Parents, Teachers On behalf of the graduating class of nineteen hundred fifty five Iwelcome you to our Commencement Program It seemed to all of us that this joyous day of graduation was many years rn the future when we entered here as freshmen But now that the trme has come for us to depart from this school where we have spent many happy hours, I can truly say that we really regret our departure Of course our school days would not have been nearly as successful wlthout the guidance and gentle understandlng of our beloved parents We have worked on many proyects during our high school days to make our tnp possrble to Washington D C and New York which we w111 be taking very soon The whole class has worked willingly and A11 the things we have done and the knowledge garned by us the graduanng class of mneteen hundred and fifty five would not have been possible wrthout the ard and the understanding of the whole faculty Next September when the school bells ring again for a new year we will not answer their summons Some of us will have gone to college others will have answered the armed services, and others w111 take their places in the community We would not have been able to step out into the world with confidence and courage without the ard of you our Friends Parents and Teachers wholeheartedly on these projects, and thus has brought about a sincere and lasting friendship among them.
