MR. SANDERS ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL For me, retirement has a dual meaning. It finalizes forty-three years of rewarding experiences in the field of educa- tion, however, it marks the beginning of a new life filled with challenges and opportunities to serve my fellow man. When I return to my home in Camilla, Georgia, I plan to devote my time and services to civic activities and to religious work in the community and the surrounding areas. My career as a school principal spans a period of great change and remarkable innovations in education. It in- cludes services in Georgia and Florida. From 1931 to 1963, I served as principal in the Camilla, Georgia School System. My last eleven years of services has been in the Hamilton County, Florida School System. For six years, I was employed as principal at j.R.E. Lee High School and have worked as Administrative Assistant at Hamilton C ounty High School during the past five years. During my educational career, I served two years in the U.S. Army. Working with the students and teachers in the Hamilton County School System has been a joy and a challenge. The students have a positive attitude toward school and are very cooperative. In the years ahead, I shall treasure my memories of the wonderful students at H.C.H.S. 8 MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU

MRS. YOUNG SOCIAL STUDIES CHAIRMAN Teaching twenty-six years in Hamilton County has been a wonderful chal- lenge. The work in the classroom has always proved interesting to me. After forty-three years teaching, I believe I will always have an interest in young people and their problems. I hope that in some way I have helped my stu- dents to be better citizens and to be better prepared as they advance into their chosen life work. When I retire, I plan to continue to live in Hamilton County and to try to find time to do many things I haven't had time to do before. I am looking for- ward to visiting with friends and relatives and relaxing with a good book or television program, and oh yes, traveling as much as finances will permit. My next dream trip will be to Australia and New Zealand. 7
