A Dedication Why should I smile? elet me count the ways . . Family, friends. f'littering fame . . . embarrassmentjoy, shame - . . it's all life and it s worth our while . . . The IeaSt we could all do is smile. The wind blowing eool refreshing gusts through my clean, curly unkempt hair, I feel free. I feel lightwl feet good-and I smile. All the boys downtown who loved that smile from Glen the innocent lad-now frownw now turn- hey-heI5 gone bad . . . tthe's got no job, he's got no school, how in the hellwill he find the tools to make it like we have in the tough frowning world . . . I can read their minds. I can see their eyes so I turn, and smile. and breathe the smog and smile, and wasteII my moneyr and smile. and I think of the one tool I have that can repair more damage than armies from the west . . . and I smile. I work with a smile, I listen with a smilemd often it spreadF and I feel sueeessful somehoww but along with that I was told that one dies as one has lived and more than anything in life I want but one thing in death . . . I want to smile as live gone. and I want that smile to live forever . . ODS.
